Lofoten has some of Northern Europe’s best surf spots, and with us, you’ll learn everything about surfing. In winter, we mix Arctic waves with snow-filled board days in the mountains.

A year filled with highlights
Lofoten offers you the chance to explore one of the world’s most exotic surf spots while having access to some of Norway’s most beautiful mountains for board sports. Our experienced instructors will guide you on a journey through the waves and mountains, focusing on mastery, safety, and nature experiences. With plenty of time dedicated to surfing, splitboarding, and snowboarding, you’ll have the opportunity to improve in these and other outdoor activities.
In addition, you’ll experience everything else Lofoten has to offer for those who love spending time in nature.
Throughout the fall, we have basecamp at Unstad, where we stay in tents. We surf, cook delicious meals, and enjoy sunsets together. We hike in the mountains and get to know the Lofoten archipelago.
What you'll learn:
You’ll gain advanced skills in surfing and splitboarding in stunning surroundings, along with other activities like skating, outdoor life, and climbing.
On the Surf and Boards program, we combine the best of two worlds—raw nature experiences in the ocean and adventurous powder days in the mountains.
The liberal folk high schools are built on values that are not based on one particular belief. They encourage students with different interests and beliefs to apply.
