For those who want to ski, love powder snow, and climbing. We’ll travel to a larger ski resort and the ski paradise of the Lyngen Alps in Troms. Our focus is on avalanche safety.

For those who:

Lofoten is our base.

Ski and Climbing offers experienced and knowledgeable instructors who, over many years, have built a strong learning environment for this program.

The Lofoten mountains provide fantastic opportunities for both climbing and skiing. The proximity to the mountains offers plenty of chances to get out and explore. You can put your skis on right from school to go on ski tours in these amazing mountains. We will travel to one of the large ski resorts that has early snow. We stay in cabins or similar accommodations and ski as much as possible. There will be both ski lessons and skiing in and outside of the resorts.

Climbing and skiing are the main activities, so there will be plenty days of skiing. We focus on giving you the chance to develop as much as possible in these areas, with plenty of activities alongside others who share the same interests.

A glacier trip to Engabreen at Svartisen. Here we stay at Tåkeheimen, one of the most spectacular mountain huts in Norway. On the glacier, we’ll learn how to use ice axes and crampons, as well as glacier travel and rescue techniques.

We’ll paddle sea kayaks in Lofoten’s beautiful archipelago, and you’ll earn a "wet card" as proof of completing a basic course. In the spring, we’ll set up base camp and paddle various trips.

Our goal is plenty of fellowship, skills and traditional outdoor living, all through the dark winter days, and into the white nights. There will be challenges like biking, telemark skiing, peak hiking, climbing, hunting and fishing. You will be instructed in the making of necessary equipment, first aid, security, scouting, guiding and how nature and culture interwine.

We offer major subjects within these areas:
Outdoor life: * Mountaineering * Telemark/ Climbing * Lofoten
Photography: * Natur * Pro
