Voss Folk High School is an active and creative environment. There are great opportunities for personal growth and immersion in subjects of interest. The school emphasizes the traditions of local and Norwegian culture, the process of acquiring wisdom, and expression of opinion. The school has eight major courses: Music Production, Sports & Outdoor Life, Music & Outdoor Life, Film & Photography, Computing, Computing combined with outdoorlife, and two Extremesport classes. Major course activities are an important part of everyday school life.
The liberal folk high schools are built on values that are not based on one particular belief. They encourage students with different interests and beliefs to apply.
