Do you want to produce electronic music, film- or game music? Are you interested in learning mixing and mastering? Create your own "sound" and develop skills as a music producer regardless of genre.
As a music production student, you get a unique chance to explore your creativity and learn one
music software and other necessary tools to go from abstract idea to published song.
You will learn production techniques to write and arrange music in the style you like best, if
it's edm, hip-hop, pop, film music or a completely different style.
The subject is project-based, and you will also collaborate with the other creative lines at the school on
films, games and art installations. Not least, you will collaborate with the music line on
music recordings. If you like to sing or rap, or play an instrument, we've got you covered
the opportunity to record the music in the school studio and perform it live at a concert.
At Music Production you will learn mixing and mastering from basic to advanced level.
In the lessons, we teach the program Ableton Live, but you can use the software you like best.
As a student, you will receive a permanent license to the Ableton Live 12 suite.
You will learn music theory aimed at songwriting and production. Are you interested in studying
music further, you will also have the opportunity to achieve the level required for the entrance exam in
music theory in Norway.
