Rock, pop, classical, metal or bluegrass? Is music a big part of your life? With us, you will develop your skills in ensemble playing, songwriting/composition and theory.
Much of the time is spent on interaction. You`ll develop your individual skills as a musician and learn the art of playing with others. You`ll develop through rehearsing and performing pieces in different genres, chosen by your teacher and by yourself. You will be able to share and immerse yourself in your own and others' interests.
The music program has its own building with an auditorium, studio and band/rehearsal room; we have a grand piano and a Fender Rhodes Mk.1, electric and acoustic guitars, bass and drums as well as effect pedals and synthesisers. We offer individual instrumental lessons with highly qualified teachers.
You will follow a program that gives you a deeper understanding as a practical musician and assists you in your own compositions and arrangements. You will create your own songs/compositions and have the opportunity to collaborate with the school's actors, players, and artists.
You will participate in workshops in lyric writing, the music industry and experience playing in an African marimba group and a gamelan orchestra! In addition, there are electives in composition theory. If you want to study music further, you are in good hands with us.
You will perform at concerts both inside and outside the school. There will be a tour organized by yourself and your fellow students.
