The primary focus here is on stage performance and the setting up of theatre productions. Our approach will facilitate your understanding and experience as an actor.
Introductions to the technique of Viewpoint is central to the course as is the role of creative play.
During the year there are three / four major theatre productions designed to provide a broad experience base across a range of genres. Most of the time is allocated to rehearsal and acting, providing a lot of stage experience.
Our recording studio is a nice place for us to do voice acting. In collaboration with the game designers in the school, we write a script for a game, and give voices to the characters. We also have the opportunity to produce an audio play.
There is at least one short film project during the year. Here processes behind a movie - idea / script, storyboard, camera usage, acting in front of the camera and editing are covered.
