Fascinated by the country of Vikings, Munch and Haaland? Drawn by the call of the wild, the rich Norwegian tradition, or a desire to try something new? Join us for a journey you’ll never forget!
Norwegian Adventure is a course designed for international students eager to explore and learn more about Norway.
You’ll get to experience the stunning fjords and other breathtaking landscapes, gain practical outdoor life experience, learn about the Norwegian way of life – including language, history, culture, society, traditions, cuisine and the love of outdoor life, and you’ll develop a broader understanding of how the Norwegian culture fits into the global context.
A highlight of this program is our beginner friendly Norwegian language course, essential to fully engage in everyday life. We also bring an authentic food experience to the table, allowing you to taste a wide variety of traditional Norwegian foods, like lapskaus, brown cheese and perhaps smalahove?
During your year with us, you’ll go way beyond the classroom – experiencing Norwegian “friluftsliv” (outdoor life) while hiking the mountains and staying overnight in cozy cabins. At school, we also have nature at our doorstep – allowing the outdoors to be part of everyday life at campus.
Finally, the program includes a special trip along the western coast of Norway. You’ll explore some of Norway’s most dramatic sceneries, while learning about the region’s history and its significance in shaping the Norwegian identity.
The combination of cultural education, outdoor adventures and lifelong international friendships, ensures that you’ll end the year with lasting memories and a deep connection to Norway.
