Spend an entire year working on cosplay! At Hardanger FHS we put your personal progress first. Learn how to use a variety of relevant materials and tools to make your favorite characters a reality!

In Cosplay we craft costumes from a variety of all types of media. We present our students to both Norwegian cosplayers and international cosplayers and bring in relevant guest teachers for a variety of subjects such as hair, makeup, electronics and more.

We travel to Japan as well, learning about their vibrant culture and visiting locations and venues tailored to cosplay.

The school is situated in the beautiful, small village Lofthus with Hardangervidda on the one side and the fjord and the glacier Folgefonna on the other. Close to Trolltunga and Bondhusvatnet.
The school offers 7 different main subjects:
1. Cosplay - Japan
2. Dogsports

4. Outdoor life with backpacking and extremesports
5. Global -  society and human aid
6. Sports - Action
7. Small-Scale Farming

The school offers some Norwegian instructions if there are some foreign students. To get a quicker progress we recommend the foreign students to work with the language in their leisure time, especially in the beginning of the school year. The students borrow Norwegian textbooks at school. In the beginning of the school year we translate during the other lessons, or ask the other students to translate. We offer different projects for all the students at school.
