London, høst: London byr på over 150 teatre, og vi skal oppleve musikaler og teater i verdensklasse. Utforsk muligheter innen musikk, lyd, og teater, og vurder studiemulighetene i denne kreative metropolen.

Live-konserter, ikoniske røde busser, og mye mer venter på deg. Dette kan bli et uforglemmelig minne fra folkehøgskoleåret, med både inspirasjon og mange gode felleskapsminner!

New York

New York vår: Studieturen på våren går til legendariske New York – byen som aldri sover.

New York er en kulturby med opplevelser og muligheter rundt hvert hjørne. Du får oppleve det beste byen kan by på av kultur, slik som teaterforestillinger i ulike sjangre og musikaler på Broadway. Vi lar oss inspirere av mennesker som har en personlig historie å fortelle; Det kan f.eks. være unge mennesker som prøver å realisere drømmen innenfor, musikk, teater og lyd. 

Elevene med fordypning musikk og lyd kan lage musikkvideo basert på selvskrevne låter, og er man elev på teater kan man få mulighet til å være skuespiller i denne musikkvideoen innspilt i New York. 

New York har mye av det meste – fra berømte museer, kjente parker og bygninger, gode shoppingmuligheter, et enormt kunst- og kulturliv og mat fra alle verdens hjørner. Her er det noe for en hver smak. Vi skal bli kjent med byen og her får du oppleve plassene du sett i kjente og kjære filmer og serier. En sykkeltur i Central park, opplev byens skyline fra et båtdekk eller opplev utsikten over hele byen fra en av Manhattans høyeste skyskrapere... Mulighetene er uendelige! Vi kjenner byen godt og kan derfor ta deg med på ting det ikke er så lett å få til på egenhånd.

Spania and Gibraltar - for all students

Our excursions are an impotant part of our year, with three main focus aereas: Culture and country knowledge, relationship and class orientated activities. During the last years we have had an excursion to Southern Europe for the whole school. For the year 2024/2025 we have choosen Spania and Gibraltar for this travel, during week 44/45.

Here we will visit the aerea Andalicia, and have our base close to the city Rota. Here we have different arrangements and activities for all, with posibility for surfing, frisbee-golf, charming bicycle trips and activities from the beachaerea.

We will also visit historical Sevilla and the british connected Gibraltar.

This joint trip for the whole school is included in your ordinary school payment. Which means that you only will need additional money for your own use. 

On these kind of excursions the arrangements and activities will be across the main classes, and we think this is an impåortant part for our work with the social relationship between the studends and staff at the school.

Travel in the local area

We plan for some short trips and excursions, where we hope to experience much togeher. We think it is important for the social enviroment at the school!

We will travel around in the local aera, visit historical Stiklestad or other known places in the region, or travel to the city Trondheim 1,5 hour away, with among other things a wide music- and cultural life.

We can also travel to one of the best ski sports destinations in the aera, Åre in Sweden, or spend time in the nature area surronding the school for outdoor living. Further more it is many activities and places which classes, elective subjects or the school can visit or attend during the year.
