Ål folkehøgskole is the only Experiental College / Folk High School for deaf people in Norway. Ål folkehøgskole and Conference Center for Deaf People is a national resource center in the field of Sign Language and Deaf Studies.
Ål Folk High School offers full-year courses for deaf and hearing signers from all over the world! Our students comes from a wide range of countries from all five continents! We have had students from Madagascar, Iran, India, Chile, Venezuela, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Australia, the USA and many other countries. The only Folk High School for deaf people in Norway, the Ål folkehøyskole and Conference Center for Deaf People is a national resource center in the field of Sign Language and Deaf Studies.
